The Artistocrats is an independent video game development studio based in Hasselt, Belgium. Our core team has always been driven by a deep passion for game creation. What started as a love for game modding and hobby development evolved into professional work on various titles, ultimately leading us to develop our own game. In early 2012, we began working on Order of Battle - WWII, which launched in April 2015.

After releasing several DLCs for Order of Battle, we embarked on a new challenge: Starship Troopers - Terran Command, a real-time strategy game based on the Starship Troopers movie franchise. Following five years of development, the game was released in 2022, becoming one of the best-selling RTS games on Steam that year.
With over a decade of experience in strategy games—both turn-based and real-time—we remain committed to pushing boundaries in the genres. Our ambition is to grow our team and refine every aspect of game development, from gameplay design and graphics to marketing and community engagement. The best is yet to come!
